About Us
Parliament Hill Bowls Club is a members club that offers lawn bowling facilities for all ages and skill levels.
Our club is located on the beautiful Hampstead Heath in North London, offering a wonderful atmosphere for our members to enjoy.
Established in post-war London on Parliament Hill Fields, which was being utilized as allotments and cattle grazing land at the time, our club boasts a rich history and tradition of lawn bowling. Hampstead Heath, an amalgamation of several large estates, was acquired for public use in 1875. Parliament Hill was later incorporated into the Heath in 1888. Since 1989, the Heath has been under the management of the Corporation of London.
Our club's mission is to provide a welcoming environment for members to connect with each other and enjoy the game of lawn bowling. Come and be a part of our community today!
About the club

Green: We have a six-rink green which we share with Hampstead Heath Croquet Club, maintained by City of London Corporation.

Facilities: We have a very low cost honesty bar with tea and biscuits always available; we accept cash and card payments.

Competitions and matches:
We welcome and encourage our members to sign up for internal and external matches. We have a range of internal competitions open to all members, we also play in friendlies with other North London clubs, both home and away. Check out the dates of matches on the website and you can sign up to play.
We are members of Finchley & North London Bowls Association (formally Finchley & District Bowls Association), so the club and its members can play in their competitions, and if you would like to play in the county competitions, we are members of Middlesex Bowling Association.
Parliament Hill Bowls Club is affiliated with Bowls England who govern the game of flat green outdoor bowls for men and women in England.
